Siranush Gharibyan

During the first term I did Russian, English, Armenian, Armenian Literature, History, History of Armenia, Ecology, Mathematics, Spanish, Grabar, German, Social Science, Geometry, Foreign Literature, Physical (physical training), Informatics and Speech Culture.
During our English lessons I have learned a lot of new words and developed my knowledge of grammar. For example, we learned ''Agreement between the subject and the predicate, the articles, reflexive pronouns. We revised the Simple Present, the Present continuous, the Simple Past, the Simple Future tenses, countable and uncountable nouns. We also learned a lot of new phrasal verbs and ways of word formation on different topics such as sport, fun and games, shopping, learning and doing, traveling and human relationships. During the lessons we discussed different questions which are connected with the mentioned topics.
At the end of December we did an English test for applicants to Armenian universities and I passed that exam.
At the lessons of Foreign Literature we read and translated “Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte. After reading each chapter we translated it and discussed the heroes’ deeds. It gave me knowledge and helped me to improve my oral speech. At translational lessons we learned a lot of political words and word combinations. We discussed political ideas and I think that the skills of discussing such ideas will help me much with my future life.
At Spanish lessons I did translations and learned new Spanish words. It helps me to be in contact with my friends in Argentina. I speak to them in English and Spanish.
As for my Armenian lessons I want to mention that we studied spelling, lexicology, revised the Noun and cases. I am of the opinion that my Armenian Lessons developed my ability of writing and speaking Armenian more accurately.
I gained my knowledge in Social Science. Now I know about European Union and Council of Europe very well.
I learned the computer program “Excel” . I use my computer skills every day for making presentations. I like to sit at the computer and spend my time on reading interesting articles. It requires knowledge of foreign languages. For this purpose I am studying English and Spanish. I did a lot of translations and presentations and my computer skills helped me with that work. I and my class have decided to translate the text-book “Science” into Armenian. That book is fool of pictures and different photos. We are scanning and using them in our future book. I and my class think that that book will be the first step in creating new very good text books in Armenia for Armenian schools. It’s already two months that we have been doing that work. This work gives us great knowledge of new very useful English words. We are in contact with our teacher Mr Yura over the internet.
I did a lot of translations from Russian and Spanish.

I am confident about my future and for it I am grateful and thankful to all my teachers.
During the first term I wrote essays inn English and presented them in our site. I did presentations in Ecology and showed them to my schoolmates. I published a lot of translations and materials in our site. I am the operator of our Spanish site. I did translations with my Spanish teacher. I and my classmates presented a film about Mkhitar Sebastatsi. In that film we challenged to translate new books into Armenian. It was in that film that we decided to translate the text-book “Science”.
I don’t have any suggestions to improve our education. I think that everything is OK at our school.
