Jermuk Spa won't Become a Mining Area

An Ecological Country Studies educational trip to Jermuk - Mountain Amulsar in Vayots Dzor Province is being organized which is intended to take place on September 28-30.  The aim of the educational trip is to join the civil initiative "Jermuk Spa Won't Become a Mining Area" and to introduce Armenia's most vital ecological problem to the students.        

The students are going to meet the activists who have been defending the Amulsar for already 100 days not allowing the company to continue mining works. On the second day the students are going to visit Jermuk.

The project coordinator is Marta Asatryan
