Observing the Planet Venus

Today our journey started at 6 o’clock. We were at the top of Cascade-Monument. Our aim was to see the planet Venus.

It was extremely hard for us to wake up at 5.30. We were all sleepy. But I would do everything for watching one of the marvelous planets of the Solar System-Venus.

There were people wit their telescopes. All were curious and were inpatiently waiting for that moment. Our educational complex had its own telescope.

Let me represent the feelings. From the telescope you could see a red ball. It was our Sun. A black tiny ball was floating in the middle of it. This one was Venus. It is the closest planet to the Earth.

Before this except Moon and Sun I haven’t seen any celestial body. Maybe in the nearest future people would land Venus
