Our Pilgrimage to Artsakh

Trasnlated by 11-3 class

Our trip to Artsakh was surprising, unique and unforgettable. I have already had a chance to be in Artsakh once, but this time we discovered this magic land in a new way and it welcomed us warmly.

I could never think of spending a night in Gandzasar, but it became reality. Of course a four-day trip is not enough to discover all the wonders of Artsakh, but we managed to admire a lot of places: Stepanakert, the fortress of Askeran, Dadivanq, Vanqadzor, Shushi…… We had a great pain to see in what situation Shushi was. It seemed as if the war had just ended. Only a few buildings were reconstructed. All the rest was in ruins.

It was so impressive how we overcame the height of Vanqasar. As soon as we reached the chapel we felt no tiredness and gained new strength. We came back impressed and with rich memories.
