A Piece of Paradise

It is hard to believe in what you have never seen. No words, can give you the real prospect of something existing which you have never seen and it is true and I once more convinced to myself that it is so. No one can really exercise the exact pain you endure. It is easy to say,” Let me share your pain” May be words give relief to you but can never replace the exact pain you exercise. Armenia without its one part is like a man without, let’s say a hand which had been expelled from Armenia without anesthetization and for 70 long years this wound has given bitter pain to us, pain that no one could imagine. I have always longed for seeing Artsakh with my own eyes and at last my dream came true. Words fail me to express what I saw and felt there. It was beyond my imagination. It’s a piece of paradise spread among high and proud hills and mountains surrounding Artsakh and the heroic, patriotic people have taken after them. The will and the strong belief of the people living in Artsakh are unbroken and persistent. When man stands for the support of his homeland and its freedom by himself he always wins and even unbelievable prospects are sentenced to become true. I met a few people there but can strongly witness the basic trait of Artsakh people’s character - they are invincible like their mountains, they are welcoming like their nature and somewhat passionate like their poppies in the emerald fields. Let your churches be always erect like your mountains, let your blessing and prays only be uttered by Armenians. Long live Artsakh land.
