Armenian Iranian Friendship Atmosphere in the "Mkhitar Sebastatsi" Educomplex

Diana Nazaryan, our teacher of the Persian language, elucidates the event.

It is already several years that the Persian language has been taught at the “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” Educomplex. The teaching of the Persian language course has especially been effective since the beginning of this school year.

The students of the specialized Persion course have already visited Blue Mosque in Yerevan for a few times with their Persian teacher Diana Nazaryan and with the support of the Cultural Center of Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan. In this way the students have got acquainted with the culture of the neighboring country.        

On November 3 Mohammad Reza Heydari, councilor of the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan, Parvin Kazemi visited the Educomplex and they were welcomed by Ashot Bleyan, director of the “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” Educomplex.    

In honor of respectful guests, the students studying Persian performed Iranian songs and dances.  

An interesting round-table discussion in a warm and friendly atmosphere took place in the library reading hall of the Educomplex. Mohammad Reza Heydari happily stated that there has been a great progress in teaching Persian in the Educomplex for the last one year. The guests highlighted the fact that besides learning Persian the students also study the History of the Iranian Culture, traditions and even the cuisine.

The guests expressed their readiness to support the Persian language teaching in the Educomplex and continue cooperation. By the way, they brought presents: books, language teaching games, posters and art boards with colored anti-dust chalk.

Mr. Mohammad Reza Heyderi said that they would do their best to build a center of Iranian culture in the neighborhood of the Educomplex.
