Trndez (the Festival of Fire) in Hayrivank

On Saturday, on the 14th of February, a small group of learners of Grades 4-5 from our New School and Fine Art Primary School went on a trip to Hayrivank to celebrate Trndez (The Festival of Fire). It was a fine, snowy but warm day. The villagers received us warmly. We made fire, jumped over it, played snowballs, dried our clothes beside the stove and returned home in high moods.
