Անգլախոսների ակումբի աշխատանքը մշտապես լուսաբանվել է Ավագ դպրոց-վարժարանի ենթակայքում և կայքի անգլերեն էջում: Քննարկումները կատարվել են երեքշաբթի և հինգշաբթի օրերին, ժ15.00-16.00, 14.30-15.30: Հետազոտական նախագծային աշխատանքը` պատկերազարդ բառարանի ստեղծումը, կատարվել և կատարվում է առցանց:

Today's (October 4) meeting of the English speaking club was devoted to the development of transnational skills. At first the students were asked to translate an English article about the recent parliamentary elections in Georgia. The article was taken from "Mews.am". After the article had been translated into Armenian the students were asked to open the Armenian text of the same article. The students were filled with confidence when they compared their translation with the Armenian text. Then we did the same work beginning with an Armenian text.
During our meeting the students learned a lot of new political terms. The meeting was a success.

Ակումբի անդամները Արցախում

Գանձասարյան ճամբարին մասնակցեցին` Աիդա Գրիգորյանը, Հասմիկ Աբրահամյանը և Հայկ Ղազարյանը: Նրանք այնտեղ ներկայացրեցին անգլերենի պատկերազարդ բառարանի ստեղծման նախագծի աշխատանքները:

Ինչպես գիտեք` Արցախում գանձասարյան ճամբար մեկնած սովորողների հիմնական ու գլխավոր գործառույթը կրթահամալիրի գործող ակումբները Արցախում ներկայացնելն էր:

Ակումբային գործունեությունը դիտվում է որպես ոչ ֆորմալ կրթության շրջանակներում կազմակերպվող ծրագիր, որին մասնակցում են բոլոր ցանկացողները` ըստ նախասիրությունների: Անգլախոսների ակումբը միակն էր, որ ներկայացավ երկու խմբով: Պատճառն այն էր, որ տարբեր են դրանց ղեկավարները, ովքեր,ցավոք, ճամբար չէին մեկնել:
Մեր խումբը, որ կազմված էր երեք հոգուց, ցուցադրեց անգլերեն-հայերեն պատկերազարդ բառարանը: Այն իր մեջ ներառում է արդեն 13-ից ավելի թեմա` երկրաչափական մարմիններ և պատկերներ (Geometricalfigures and images), մաթեմատիկական գրաֆիկներ(Mathematical graphs), գործիքներ (Tools), կահույք (Furniture), ծաղիկներ (Flowers), երաժշտական գործիքներ (Musicial instruments) և այլն:
Ակումբը ներկայացրեցինք հայերեն լեզվով, քանի որ տեղի դպրոցում միայն գերմաներեն է դասավանդվում:
Ներկաներին հաղորդվեց, որ նախագիծը սկսել է գործել հունիսյան ճամբարի ընթացքում` սկզբում ներառելով նախկին 10-րդցիներին, իսկ հիմա դրան անդամակցում են ներկայիս 10-րդ ու 11-րդ դասարանների սովորողներ: Նախագիծը շարունակվում է նաև այժմ, նախատեսված է ամբողջ տարվա համար: Մտահղացումը ողջունվեց թե սովորղների, թե ուսուցիչների կողմից. սա հատկապես օգտակար է նրանց համար, ովքեր նոր են սկսում անգլերեն սովորել և ցանկանում են հարստացնել իրենց բառապաշարը տվյալ ասպարեզում:
Խոստացանք բառարանի ստեղծումից հետո նրանց անպայման տրամադրել ամբողջական տարբերակը:
Բառարանը երկրորդ անգամ ներկայացվեց կրկին Վանք գյուղում, բայց արդեն աշխատանքների ամփոփման ժամանակ: ՄասնակցեցինՎանքի, Ստեփանակերտի, Ասկերանի դպրոցի սովորողները, ինչպես նաև ներկա գտնվողերը` ի դեմս Արցախի կրթության և գիտության նախարար Ս. Ասրյանի և կրթահամալիրի տնօրեն Ա. Բլեյանի:

Անգլախոսների ակումբի անդամները այսօրվանից սկսում են աշխատել համացանցային ռեժիմով, քանի որ աշնանային արձակուրդներից հետո ակումբի շատ անդամներ ունենում են 7-8-րդ դասաժամեր ըստ անհատական ուսպլանի և դա դասասենյակային պարապմունքների հնարավորություն չի տալիս: Ստիպված եմ համակերպվել: Ասում եմ ստիպված եմ, որովհետև իմ տան աշխատանքն է շատանում, բայց փոխարենը մեր ավագ դպրոցի կայքը կհարստանա մեր թարգմանություններով և համացանցային քննարկումներով: Սկսում ենք թարգմանությունների մի շարք, որն անելու ենքTed.com կայքից: Դա մի կայք է, որը տարածում է աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում ապրող հետաքրքիր մարդկանց հետաքրքիր ու անսովոր գաղափարներ, որոնց մասին արժե իմանալ: Մեր առաջին զրույցի հեղինակը Բենջամեն Ուոլիցն է: Զրույցի թեման է <<Երջանկության գինը. Կարելի է արդյոք փողով երջանկություն գնել>> (Սա տարբեր պատմությունների միշարք է, թե ինչպես են որոշ քաղքենիներ գնում սովորական ապրանքները շատ ավելի թանկ գներով, քան դրանք իրականում արժեեն:)

The English Club Members Are Discussing

Our English club members have already begun discussing the topic: "Do you prefer reading e-books to reading paper books? Which are the advantages and disadvantages of e-books?"

Books have been very popular since ancient times. It’s much easier to use paper books because they are convenient. You can take them with you everywhere. It’s much easier and more pleasant to turn over pages. You can write down notes on the pages. I especially like to keep a field flower in a book and dry it up between pages. But there is one disadvantage in paper books: a great number of trees are cut down in different countries of the world to produce paper and this activity causes ecological problems. Some people don’t realize the value of paper. They can rip it up and throw the pieces away. Electronic books don’t need much space. Electronically created books spare the nature. Many e-books are free while paper books always cost money and sometimes we can’t afford to buy them. I would rather download them from the Internet than pay so much money. On the other hand e-books affect our eyesight more than paper books. In conclusion I would like to mention that it is better to read e-books to save money and our nature.

In our life media is widely spread, so we can’t imagine our day without it. We need the right and important information which we can find not only on the internet but also in different reference books. We deal not only with reference books and text-books but also with fiction books, and I’m sure that reading a paper book is more pleasant. It means that you have it at your hand; you touch it, you turn over its pages... And what happens when you use an electronic book? You harm not only your eyes, but also spend more time which could be spent on doing something more important.
I use e-books only when they are too expensive to buy or when I can’t find them in the libraries, but it happens very rarely. I do everything to avoid it.
We have a media library on our school website and there are a lot of digitized books in it. We do our homework by electronically, we publish our articles in our school web-site. So we use the internet every day and everywhere. That’s why I often want to turn off my computer and go out of virtual life. I want to have live contacts with my friends and paper books because I am very sociable.

People say that electronic books have a lot of advantages and disadvantages, but in my opinion the disadvantages are stronger than advantages.
The disadvantages of e-books:
• Our eyes hurt when we want to read an electronic book with a great number of pages, especially fiction books.
• I don’t like to read electronic books because the computer causes distraction of my attention and I can’t concentrate on the book because the social sites call me and I can’t help chatting with my friends online and that takes a lot of time.
The advantages of e-books:
• Electronic books are mobile. We can carry our entire library in our pocket
• I can share my media library with my friends.
• When we have to move into other houses or apartments we don’t have to carry heavy paper books.
• We can download e-books instead of going to the library or to different bookstores, and in this way we can save our time and money.
• While reading –books we can adjust the font size and the background colour according to our eyesight and taste.

Nowadays electronic books are very popular and are becoming more and more widespread.
The advantages of e-books:
• E-books are more accessible for everybody in all the countries than paper books. For example, we can read an e-book which has been published in Spain and not a single copy has been brought to Armenia yet.
• Most e-books are free and we don’t have to pay for them.
• E-books are more helpful to students because they have to use a lot of books while preparing for their exams, and it is difficult for them to get so many paper books.
The disadvantages of e-books:
• Reading too many e–books can make our eyesight worse and worse
• When we want to begin reading an e-book, we also check our e–mail and visit the social sites, and so we sit in front of the computer for a longer time and live a passive life.

Gharakhanyan Gayane
Several decades ago when the computer and the Internet weren’t invented yet, people used to read only paper books. Now our life has changed because of new high technologies. We can read the necessary book on the Internet if we can’t find the ordinary paper book or if the price of ot is too high. On the other hand, when I read an e-book for a long time I have a headache and my eyes hurt.
I think that if the book is not so large, it’s more convenient to read the electronic version, but I generally prefer to read paper books.

I don’t think that Armenians read too many e-books to spoil their eyesight. I don’t think that nowadays Armenians read a great many paper books either. So it is useless to give any opinion about this matter.
