Los inuits habitan cerca del polo Norte, donde hace muchísimo frío, por lo que soportan condiciones de vida muy duras. Quiza sea ese el motive por el que se llevan tan bien y son tan solidarios entre sí:se ayuda siempre en todo lo que pueden. Cuando surgen discusiones, las solucionan mediante una competición poetica, llamada tordlotut, en la que los rivales hacen chistes el uno del otro delante de una asamblea de la tribu. El rival que hace reír más resulta ganador.

LIVING IN A COMMUNITY

Inuitlive in the North Pole, it is very cold there. The facilities to live there are very hard. Maybe it is the motivation that they get on well and are very tolerant. They help each other a lot. In the case if there are misunderstandings within themselves, they solve them within a poetic competition, which is called tordlotut, where the rival makes jokes in front of the assembly of the tribe. The rival making them laugh most is the winner.
