An interesting and merry day with our Georgian friends

Some students and teachers of Tbilisi Art School after Soliko Versaladze have been our guests for already two days. Because of some cercumstances I met them only today. After the morning general training we walked round the Middle and High schools and then set off to Geghard. On the way to Geghard we stopped near Charents Arch. We took photos and continued our way. We were playing, singing and, most importantly, we were speaking Georgian. We were teaching our Georgian friends Armenian words and they were teaching us Georgian words. I think that this friendship also helps us to practice speaking Georgian. When we got to Geghard, we told our guests from Tbilisi everything that we knew about this church. The women near the church treated us to freshly baked Armenian pie "gata", dried fruits and sujukh (Armenian national country sweets with nuts inside). Then we continued our way to Garni Sun (Pagan) Temple. On the way to Garni we stopped the bus, got off it and began dancing Armenian and Georgian dances. All the people in the passing cars were waving to us merrily. It was my first visit to Garni Temple. It is a very beautiful construction. Haykaz Margaryan, the History teacher of our Art School, told us interesting facts about the temple and also about the ruins of the public bath near the temple. Then we visited St Hripsime Church and the Mother temple in Echmiatsin. We came back to Yerevan with unforgettable impressions.
