Our Visit to American University of Armenia

Today the English teachers of the "Mkhitar Sebastatsi" Educomplex with a group of students and Mr.Bleyan visited American University of Armenia.

Several days ago Mr.Bleyan and the President of the AUA, Mr.Boghosyan, signed a contract of cooperation. Ashot Bleyan stated that our visit was to strengthen our cooperation. We were met by Arina Zohrabyan, the admission director of the AUA, in front of the university. She led us to a well equipped auditorium where we were offered to take  seats and Arina Zohrabyan began telling us about the AUA and the admission requirements to the their university. She especially stated the fact that the examination scores are not the decisive factors for admission. She also asked us some questions about our interests and extracurricular activities which are very important and are included in the application form. The answers to these questions are taken into account by the admission committee.   

The presentation was in English and according to our students' reactions everything was clear to them. The president of the AUA Mr. Boghosyan said that the "Mkhitar Sebastatsi" Educomplex provides the students with everything to reaveal their abilities. In fact there is a university in Armenia which can be considered the continuation of our Educomplex. They are waiting for us there.
