My impressions about Tbilisi

My impressions about Tbilisi

There are many beautiful cities in the world. Modern Tbilisi is one of them. To our great joy, our school often organizes various trips to other places and countries. This time it was a trip to Georgia’s capital Tbilisi. I was also invited to that trip. We should meet each other early in the morning at school. At first, I get disappointed a bit for my private matters but when I met my friends and our teacher Rina, and set out riding on new microbus, which had gold numbers – “8888988”, I had a great joy.

8 hours later we reached Tbilisi. Then we decided to go for a walk to see places of interest of city. We were tired of the long road, but our enthusiasm took over it and we went to Sameba, the main church in Tbilisi. In the following 4 days we visited to many interesting and wonderful places.

I’m deeply impressed by Davtyan house-museum, where we saw very thrilling puppet show. Gari Davtyan was a puppeteer who made very exclusive puppets. Also, I liked Finiklyor or Mtatsminda , which is somewhat of Georgia’s Disneyland. There are various attractions and very beautiful parks.  I liked Tbilisi’s specialty shops. There are very beautiful and cheap clothes. I bought some of them.

The members of our group stayed with different families. There were Armenian families living in Georgia. My family was very friendly. They had a little pretty girl called Milena. It was very pleasant to live in such warm atmosphere. Our group was very friendly through we hadn’t met some of them before. There were really nice and funny guys. We had a lot of fun together.

I’m also very attracted by the clean streets in Tbilisi. They’re really very clean. You can’t see any dust on them. Don’t you think it’s wonderful?  I think it is. After visiting Tbilisi Yerevan seems to be very dirty. Sad but true :(

Anyway, I’m really happy for that trip to Tbilisi, a modern city with folk ornaments and typical Georgian style of architecture.
