We have conquered our next in turn mountain pick

Arminae Topchyan

Every year we take part in the project “Conquering the mountain picks” with a peculiar love and inspiration. We have conquered different mountain picks in Armenia, and today we have climbed to pick Teghenis. As usual we gathered outside the Saint Trinity Church early in the morning and said good-bye to our people who had come to see us off. We set off without having any doubt that we would have a wonderful and adventurous trip.

On reaching Arzakan, which is at the foot of the mountain, we got off the bus taking the flags with us. At first the weather was favorable and the air was fresh. We walked to the Monastry Neghuts where we said our prayers. The church was built in the 10th century. Now it badly needs repairing.

Neither the difficult way to the pick nor the rain didn't prevent us from walking up the mountain. In the end we conquered it.

I didn't describe everything about our trip. There were also some adventures, and the learners will tell about them later.
