A Tale For My Grandchild

Among the pre-festive meeting participants of the project "A Tale For My Grandchild", which took place in "Zangak" Bookstore on December 23, were the most genuine Sebastatsi tale tellers Mrs. Aida and Mrs. Sofia with their grandchildren Elen, Areg and Vram. The environment was pleasing just from the entrance hall. Everything was done for the participants to feel comfortable. Everybody was ready to enjoy themselves.

Six tales were presented. Mrs. Aida and Areg presented Areg's story "Wolves and Dogs" which seems to be very modern. Areg had made that story up. Then Mrs. Aida told the tale "The Tailless Fox" in such a good way that all the children present took part in the process of presenting the tail. The most interesting about it was the that children were continuously making up new heroes for the tale, and it seemed as if the tale would not have any end.

Mrs. Sofia told the tale "The Sparrow" by H.Tumanyan. Mrs Sofia enriched the tale with her ability to sing. Everybody was pleasantly surprised at her unique way of presenting the tale by singing.

When all the six tales had been told, the jury began choosing the winner of the contest, and the jury was fair enough to choose Mrs. Aida and Areg for the first place and Sofia with Elen for the second place. At the end of the meeting all the participants got their presents from "Zangak" Bookstore.
