Annual Scientific Technical Review: Expo 2017

The 27th of January was the exposition day, Expo 2017, of the Annual Scientific Technical Review held at the "Mkhitar Sebastatsi" Educomplex. Not only were the learners and teachers of the Educomplex demonstrating their works, but also tens of learners with their teachers of other educational institutions from Yerevan and different regions of Armenia who have come to take part in the Review. Here we could meet the heads of the robot making clubs of the High Schools  of Yerevan and Vanadzor Polytechnical Universities Rouzanna Saribekyan and Araksia Balyan with their students. The students from vanadzor were showing their mine searching robot, and the students from Yerevan High School attracted everybody's attention with their rope and wall climbing robots. The learners from the village of Ranchpar with their teacher Viacheslav Israyelyan were showing the computer games which they have programmed. Shushan Grigoryan with her robotex members of the ArmMath engineering laboratory were also showing their own computer games. In the center of the Marble Hall one could see the 3D printer made by the robotex members of the Educomplex Middle School. Gnel Harutyunyan, the head of the club, was answering questions about their robot. When I asked him who was the most active robotex member among the learners, he couldn't give a definite answer: "All of them have been active. Each of them has done something." The learnwers of Hasmik Nalbandyan (Physics), Venera Kharatyan and Susan Sahakyan (Chemistry) were showing the process or the results of some experiments, and Emanuel Agjoyan was explaining how effective the Geography lessons can be with the robot consisting of the Sun(a lamp)  and the Earth( a small globe) rotating around its axis at different angles.

It is hard to surprise the Marble Hall. It has seen and heard a great many extraordinary performances, dances and songs. And, nevertheless, it was a little surprised today, because it had all of a sudden hosted so many learners with engineering intellect.
