Our Camping Day in the Zoo

This morning our English club members came to school without having an idea what we should do because our trip to Sevan had been cancelled. So we had to decide how to make our     penultimate camping day more saturated and interesting. Mr.Yura suggested going to the Zoo, and as we hadn't been there for a very long time, and we knew that the Zoo had been reconstructed, we willingly agreed. Little and lazy turtles greeted us with their cute faces when we arrived at the Zoo. The Zoo has really changed for the better. It has become much cleaner and allocated territories of different animals and birds have been reconstructed so that they can live in a close to nature environment. We could see different animals surprisingly looking at us or hiding in the shade from the sun. As the barriers are much larger now the animals can move freely and play with each other. Some young artists were drawing or painting their pictures. We couls see the Black Kite, Silver Pheasant, Golden Pheasant, Crocodile, Japanese Macaque, Hippopotamus and many others. Each of them had unique beauty so no-one could pass by without paying attention to them. We finished our short but memorable educational trip by walking down the Zoo and sharing our impressions with each other. Taking into account our horse riding in the village of Ushi I can say that nature and animals became an integral part of our club during this summer educational camp.
