Overcoming Fears

An extract from mr. Ashot Bleyan's diary for the 18th of December.

The school is a place where you should overcome your fears for the sake of your child. My fear of dogs is well known to everybody, isn’t it? Look how excited I am while watching the training of the dog lover’s club conducted by Khoren, assisted by primary school teacher Melinae and participated by six-year-old Davit Bleyan. Davit and the dogs on our farm are friends. It could be possible only thanks to our pedagogy.   

The most dangerous profession for a woman is being a teacher. Because of too much tension on vocal cords, teachers get ill with angina and laryngitis. Blog based and project based teaching learning process changes this situation. Moreover, the teacher gains a lot by taking part in all the activities assigned to learners: sports, educational trips, music.   

We can and we should go to Ashtarak to get healthy and make the people in Ashtarak healthier. We should clean the gorge of the River Kasakh. We should transfer our abilities through our pedagogy. We should make the town of Ashtarak “an ethnographic laboratory”.
