Dear Santa, if it comes to your mind to visit Armenia, bring peace with you

The monthly Flash Mob in English gave me a chance to communicate with more school-children than when I was working as a full time teacher. 316 learners of different age groups took part in December Flash Mob. The final task for the learners of Grades 6-8 was writing a letter to Santa Claus. These letters are so interesting and frank, that I am publishing them without editing. They are in the original as they were written by the learners. Out of 88 letters I have randomly chosen 18.

Garik Barkhudaryan Grade 6 -  Dear Santa I wished  a very good and lovely Merry Christmas and New year. I wished for in this year you deliver  all presents for children. I wished for all homeless received homes and to live without worries. 

Davit Martirosyan Grade 6 - Dear Santa, my name is David from Erevan. I am ten. I go music school and I want to have drums. My lovely music instrument is udarnik, I playing very well in drums. Thank you Santa.

Anna Stepanyan Grade 8 I want peas for my country and for all the world. Let all the children be happy and let all the wishes come thru. 

Astghik Avagyan Grade 6 Hello my lovely Santa. How are you ? This year I  don't want present for me miself, but for all people in the world. I want that every people in this world  will never be  ill and will never be war .I want that all peopple be happy and kinde .Please Santa do so in order to all my dreams come  true for all people .

Emilia Aidinyan Grade 6 Dear Santa you wrote' Emilia Aydinyan. I want people to be kind and loving peace. And I am asking you to make my dream come true.

Svetlana Melkumyan Grade 6 Dear Santa, I wish that all dreams are fulfilled. Everyone should be happy. Peace reign in the world. All friends are together. I honestly wish everyone a successful and full year.

Ruzan Minasyan Grade 6 Hi dear Santa! My name is Ruzan. I am writing to you a letter from Armenia. In expectation of New Year and Christmas it would be desirable to ask you only that  my relatives all be good. I want the world to be in peace and all people to be happy, no wars and no illness.

Nazeli Ter-Petrosyan - Dear Santa I don't want something, because I know that there are many children who waits you and your presents. They have a many dreams. And I think that it will be better to be able to make my dreams true myself.

Anna Gharibyan – Grade 7 - Dear Santa I'm Ann. I leave in Armenia. I'm 12. This Year I wish peace, happiness and Armenian soldiers health.

Davit Arakelyan Grade 7 –My name is David and I am 12 years old. I have been a very good boy this year. I hope, that you know that my favourite part of Christmas is giving! Giving is better, than getting. It just filles my heart with joy to see someone with blessed. I decided give many presents to the not welfare children in Armenia. You can bring me nothing in this.

  Gohar Harutyunyan Grade 6 –Dear Santa, I dream of having a small hedgehog. I ...will play with him only to bring these little hedgehog. I would like also that this year comes to a lot of snow so we can play a good snowballs.Thanks in advance my dear Santa.

Aram Petrosyan Grade 6 –Dear Santa, Hello, I am Aram from Armenia. I hope you remember me from last letters :)  Please give me a brother or sister in next year, please... I don't have brother and sister. I want to be someones big brother and protector. If you are thinking, that you cannot give me a brother or sister, please give me a invitation to Laplandia. I want to see you, your house, your Elfes, I want to be friend with you, I'm sure you are a friendly grandfather.

Ellada Babayan Grade 7 –Dear Santa, gifts for me not so important, So I want you to some of my dreams fulfilled by you. I want to give good service to our Armenian soldiers. I want people to host, I wish people learn to  save our planet, I wish peace to our planet.

Vachagan Khachatryan Grade 8 –I love you and believe that you exist. 'I am asking for only one thing: I know you can do it, but you can not do that. I do not know why but you do not do it. I ask you to bring me a time machine. I will wait for Christmas Christmas miracle.

Yana Nahapetyan Grade 6 –I would like to have a drawing implements. I want it because I love to paint. And I dream that would later become a famous painter. That's why I want to.
