Grandpa from Moz

Written by Robert Karapetyan 6-1class New School

Translated by Hripsime Aharonyan and Araksya Zulalyan

On the way to Goris we met an old man, who was sitting on the road and cars were passing by very fast. He was singing to himself and looking at us with a smile. We came up to him. The old man told us that the area had once been a town and it was called Moz. That town  was destroyed by an earthquake but the name of the area remained the same, Moz. We addressed the grandpa as "Father" because Mrs. Harutyunyan also addressed him like that. And the fuuniest thing was that the grandpa's real name was <<Հայրիկ>> Father. The grandpa was also singing. He was singing old songs.

And so we continued  our way merrily and cheerfully.,
