Ahmet Tunc writes about his impressions

On 26th January Thursday, we went to Jrvej National Park to ski and sledge. It took 1 hour by bus but it totally worth because the place was a natural wonder. It is a ski slope on a mountain which is full of trees. So everywhere was green and white.  I have never skied before so this was the first time for me. Even if I couldn’t do well, I enjoyed so much. We played snowball, skied, sledged, had lunch all together. It was a great place.

After Jırvej, we went to Garni which took almost half an hour by bus. We visited the Pagan temple which is a classical Hellenistic temple and was built in the first century AD as a temple to the sun god Mihr. The building seems like it was recently built but it still preserves the spirit of the time when it was built. Not only the temple but also the environment was great. The scene behind it includes white mountains with green jungles, a natural wonder river under your feet and the winter sun among the clouds. The day was really fun both for me and for the students because we were in touch with nature which is a great feeling.
