Our High School on May 31

Nowadays Mr. Bleyan uses the Armenian word "հավես" which is difficult to translate into English. The closest meaning can be found in the word "inspiration". Whatever you do you should do with inspiration so that you would be able to live your day with inspiration. The alternative to that is waiting for the end of the day which can't be characterized as living. Now all the schools in our republic are concentrated on the school leaving and university entrance exams of Grades 9 and 12. Schools no longer care about their tens of thousands of students until August 31: let them do whatever they want to do, let them go wherever they want to go; we have done our duty, we have fulfilled the curriculum, all the lessons in the text-books have been taught and learned, the students' knowledge and skills have been assessed. And they have locked the school doors. The state of things is entirely different in the schools of our Educomplex. We have opened our doors wider at the beginning of summer. We have started educational summer with its educational camps, trips, biking, swimming, round table discussions, international educational exchanges, and the most important thing in all these activities is inspiration, being engaged in what you love. With a camera in my hand I walked round the schools of the Educomplex and saw this inspiration in the eyes of many students and teachers. Look at the first picture: our choreogragher Stepan Toroyan and future dancer Juli Simonyan just before the sport games start. They are in the state of inspiration when they move to the rythms of music. They are so inspired and have self-confidence that they will win. In the second picture Nune Movsisyan is in the state of inspiration: she is reading, translating and editing. She is coordinating this year's translational review. At that moment Nune was working with a student of Grade 8 Tatevik Alexanyan.
In the next picture Tamar Ghahramanyan is discussing some literary piece of work. Discussion of literary pieces of work inspires all the  teachers of Armenian Language and Literature. Hasmik Ghazaryan, a teacher of Armenian Language and Literature, who has always taken most active part in discussions, was working in our school garden with her students.
Vahram Tokmajyan's classroom was the most crowded (52 students and 5 teachers). In the picture Vahram is in the state of inspiration. He is conducting the intellectual game "Brain Ring" with the students of Middle School. I ought to remind everybody that last year Vahram's team took the first place in the Republic of Armenia in a TV "Brain Ring" contest the topic of which was Armenian History.
This year labour units are something new in our summer camp. Khoren Hazarumyan's labour unit was working in our school farm. They were helping to reconstruct the ruins of our warm-house which was destroyed by severe wind blast.
