Armenian-Georgian Public Educational Activities

The programme "Armenian-Georgian Public Educational Bridges", appreciated by the Ministries of Education and Science of Armenia and Georgia, started when the learners and teachers of School 98 in Tbilisi, Headmaster Georgi Momtselidze, visited the Educomplex. On November 19, 2009 the Director of the Educomplex Ashot Bleyan and Headmaster of School 98 after Sayat Nova, Georgi Momtselidze, signed a partnership agreement in a solemn atmosphere in the presence of the representatives of the Georgian Embassy to Armenia and the Ministry of ES of RA.    

Specialized and further teaching of the Georgian Language is being carried out in the Educomplex High School and Middle School and a Georgian Speaking Club operates within the framework of innovative public educational programmes of the Educomplex. The georgian teacher, having graduated from Tbilisi State University, is also editor of the Georgian page of the mskh.am and the Georgian issues of the pedagogical journal Dpir. Tbilisi City Council has presented the Educomplex with books in Georgian.

Partnership relationships have been established with about twenty schools and educational cultural institutions in Tbilisi and Javakhk. On April 14, 2011 the Director of the Educomplex Ashot Bleyan was awarded with Tbilisi City Council medal "Cultural Ambassador of Georgia" on the occasion of the state holiday of the Georgian Language. The Headmaster of School 98 in Tbilisi, Georgi Momtselidze, was awarded with the diploma of the Ministry of ES of RA.

February 22 The teachers and learners of Tbilisi Children's Art Gallery after Elen Akhvlediani, the 2nd Art School after Paliashvili, the School 8 after Merab Kostava, Tbilisi Children' Foundation and also Schools 124, 14, 6 visit the Educomplex Fine Art School to take part in the Armenian-Georgian installation "Big Washing".  

February 26 Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador H.E. Mr. Tengiz Sharmanashvili's farewel visit to the Educomplex.
