Engineering Education: from School to Production

A scientific practical conference "Engineering Education: from School to Production" took place at AYB High School on May 13. A round tour about the school was organized before the seminar. The school, of course, is very well-ecquiped and attractive. Many guests were impressed by this luxury... The conference consisted of two parts: speeches and master classes. The representative of LEGO Education from Russia and the chairman of Russian Educational Robototechnics made their speeches. Then the master class lessons began. They had 4 directions:          

• Teaching technologies and informatics at primary schools with the help of LEGO Education means.  
• Activities based education at primary schools with the help of LEGO Education means.
• Application of educational platform LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 
• Organizing project based education at basic schools on the platform of LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 

The aim of the workshop was to help the teachers stimulate the students' interest and involvement in the fields of engineering, robotics, physics and mathematics. It was interesting and useful for us.
