The impressive start of the Public Educational Eco Tour 2014

On April 24 the 4th annual open review of the Public Educational Eco Tour 2014, organized at the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of RA, started at Yerevan "Mkhitar Sebastatsi" Educomplex. The participating teams of the review: from Georgia - Tbilisi School 98 and Art School 1, from Artsakh - the combined team of the schools in Stepanakert, from Lori - the team of the city Spitak, the team from Alaverdi, from Aragatsotn - the team of the village Bazmaghbyur, from Kotayk- the team of the village Bjni, from Gegharkunik- the team of the town Gavar have arrived and have been hosted in the educational exchange dwelling quarters of the Educomplex and in the learners' families.   

On April 24 the participants of the review took part in a joint eco event: cleaning, improving, well arranging, tree planting and flower-planting work in the neighbouring areas of the Educomplex schools. The learner ecologists have planted more than 100 trees, hundreds of flower shrubs, seedlings and other plants today. After their work they visited Tsitsernakaberd, the memorial to the victims of the Great Genocide. The Educomplex eco inspectors will carefully tace care of the newly planted trees and flower shrubs.     

The contest commission of the review has already accepted 125 eco projects from the learners of middle and high schools and 70 projects from the learners of primary schools. The presentation and open discussions of the middle and high school projects are sceduled for April 25 at 9.30-13.00 in the hall "Sebastatsies" in the Mother  school, and the discussion of the middle school projects will be in the "Media Hall" (A.Babajanyan 25). The summary of the Public Educational Eco Tour results will take place in the Marble Hall on April 26 at 15.00.
